The Primate Series

This has stemmed from my interest in the close examination of why man (primate) has chosen violent and aggressive means to express his wishes. The work is contextualized around unexplained loss or disaster – but loss or disaster with a human inspired accent such as death. I formulated this work through a combination of materials including cloth, paper, steel, glass and linoleum. My ideas formed on the association with that of the submarine, its birth, development and after disaster demise.
